RE: Recommendations for young son?
Briman!
I started both my kid's with a small recurve with some cheap wooden arrow's,just so they could get the feeling of holding and get ther idea of shooting a bow is all about .After a couple of season's when they showed that they were still interested and understood the basic's of shooting the bow ,I went and bought them a BowTech Rascal which they're still shooting ,I bought it with 30# limb's and now need to upgrade it to 40# limb's .There are lot's of kid's compound bow's such as the Browning Micro midas ,P.S.E. Spider.I wouldn't buy them a compound till I found out whether they're gonna stick with it because the compound's are a little expensive ,but you can pick up a small recurve for about $30.00 or less.
