I don't know exactly where the gas ports are but I assume they are in the barrel toward the end of the forearm. What I would do is clean the barrel very good ,and also clean the action. It's been a long time since I've taken mine down for a thorough cleaning so I cantbe as much help as I'de like to. Forna think i got it fixed the piston was frozen found the info i needed
and thought since you had one you might like it.
