RE: Grim Reaper tips (new and need help choosing tips)
This is an area of some controverse, some of us have had penatration problems with mecanical heads. But there are certain advantages to if your Xbow has a narrow slot and you can't use any angle or helical they will group tighter and wind plane less.
If you are going to use them and they do work good under some circumstances then get Tree Climber to write up his set up arrow weight and speed in particular and so you can judge that and the head in comparison to what you have.
The only other thing is the mistake I made,I thought the bigger the better that don't work I found out on the 6th deer I took with them that you can spend a long time looking if there is no exit hole I did find him but it took 11 hours.
Now this is strickly a personal opionion,but TreeClimber is not the only one who has good luck withSpitfires and if I was to consider trying Mec heads again thats the way I would go. Lee
