I would never EVER use a .22 LR under even 10 yards with a coyote[:'(][>:][&o]. The bullet is way too small, it doesn't have enough power (or even close) and you will most likely need a couple of follow up shots.I don't know what your thinking about shooting a coyote out to 75 yards with a practical BB/pellet gun.[&o] An RWS would even be better than a .22 LR(considering certain factors)! A .204, .22 mag, .223, and .243 are the obvious choices in this case.I CAN'T EVEN KILL A GROUNDHOG OR RABBIT WITH A .22 LR at 50 yards[&:][:'(][>:][&o]!!! My friend put 7 shots into a fat groundhog at a paced off37 yards until it died[>:]. And a rabbit has REAALLY thin skin and I still have yet to kill one at even 35 yards with a .22 LR[:'(].
