How long has it been since you cleaned it?

Has it ever gotten wet? If so did you clean it immediately when you got home? Rust in a mag tube will definetly cause cycling problems.

How much oil have you put on and in it? Oil attracts dirt and other debris and will cause cycling problems.

Have you taken it apart and if so are you sure you put everything back correctly?
