RE: MZE Next Generation Rest
I used the original ZE on my '03 Extreme VFT and crossed the cables above the slide. This allowed for enough movement of the slide to drop the arm out of the way. However, it did tear up the cables and you have to inspect them closely to see the damage.
I took the same ZE and put it on my new Tribute with the cables crossing below the slide. Not enough movement to get out of the way of the fletching. Ordered the new shorter arm and now it works like a champ.
BTW - Bowtech says to never cross the cables above the slide.
