In our bow safety course, they read the regs; theystate no discharging of "projectiles" within Billings city limits. So I am pretty sure shooting arrows is breaking thelaw, just like I do when I drive 76 mph on the interstate.
I made my house a glancing backstop because there was no direct line to the house that was 20 yds. I have a target and 4x8 plywood as a backstop. Haven't missed the plywood yet (except when I hit the target

). I also told all my neighbors and showed them our shooting angle.
