I have a summit cobra. it has the snake cable, and is fairly quiet climbin a tree. IMO- the best stands for quietness are the hang-ons.
you can slip in and climb your ladder without makin a sound. I have three of those i leave in the same places year round. their around acorn trees in funnels. I use my cobra for sneakin in on hot spots like scrapes, fresh rublines etc.
IMO- the quitest climbers on the market are the summits, the API, and the old man.
