I love my climber for staging areas in open woodlands, and for setting up on escape routes during gun season. But...I'd also make sure I had one or two good hang on's for close to bedding areas that are set up ahead of time. Where I shot my buck last weekend, its too thick to go in with a climber, find a straight tree that allows good visibility, and to set up quietly enough to not alert deer that might be bedded less than 100 yds away - no way!.
