Default RE: Shot the Big Three, revision.

mobowhuntr, thanks

Greg, yes, 60 lb, 29" inch model....IBO 305 and that's the chrono results from the smooth to the speed mods...they said about 15 days for the bow to come...I'll be sure to let you know the results of my 70 lb, 28.5 in draw chrono results...I shoot my Vortec at 68 lbs..I'll probably do the same with the Allegiance. It's already shooting faster than my Vortec with 8 less pounds...impressive. AND, expect questions...you might as well PM me your phone number, between you and Matt, expect some calls. I know Hoyt inside and out, I need to learn Bowtech.

CM, I'm telling you, that's how hard it was to make a decision..they were laughing at me in the shop...I'd shoot a dozen through both...put them on the shelf and sit and ponder....they'd laugh at me....I'd shoot another dozen and sit and ponder and they'd laugh at me.....I didn't take it lightly...I wanted to make an informed decision...that's why and they said, just do yourself a favor and buy them both....that's what's gonna happen....there is no clear cut winner...they are awesome as is the Tribute and the Switchback but I had to make a difficult decision for me and me alone..the Allegiance and the Trykon.

ducsauce, in this shop both the Allegiance and the Trykon are $699...as is the Switchback.

gibblet, thanks, I've always been in the light. (Hoyt), got any advice?

SuperRedHawk, the Switchback is a great bow....if I went into the shop and shot the Switchback, I'd take it home, no doubt and I could have easily and in a way, wanted to. I wanted the Switchback to impress me so much, I wanted it to be my choice however when shooting all 4, for me and me alone, it didn't make the cut...great bow don't get me wrong and I'd be very happy with it and defend it whole heartily....for me, it wasn't it...for you and many others, it's the shhizznit..

Nubo, and I didn't mean to write it that way...I gave the review from what I experienced and how I felt...it's that hard for me personally between the two bows and I honestly will own both if my Vortec sells...I'll love the Allegiance that's for sure as will I love the Tyrkon if I chose that one first...I don't see it as settling for the Trykon...I'll lose sleep over my decision again...good thing my gal and I went out tonight and had a couple over a comedian show...might help me sleep with my decision...either way, the Allegiance, Switchback, Tribute or Trykon...you can't go wrong for me, the Allegiance will go through some major testings the next several months and I will be the first to report if I made a mistake. Honestly, I don't see that happening. I look forward to the "set up" report on my decision.

Rick, so close and yes, it's MO not MD....thanks ole friend.

Bols, don't loose faith as of yet..I still own the Hoyt Vortec...a love of mine. It's been alot of years since a bow impressed me more than the '01 Vortec....The Trykon is the first Hoyt in some years that's done that...and I'd be proud to own one, for now, I have to go with my gut and demo's on the those 4 and bring home the Allegiance. If you know someone that wants a fantastic bow at a great price, I'll do you proud and bring home the Trykon too....and I will but what the hell will I do when I get up to hunt and need to make an early morning decision on which to take hunting.

For now, I'm putting the new accessories on the Allegiance including the Fuse Axium and Katana on the Bowtech...they'd match the Trykon better but great accessories...and when I bring home the Trykon I'll transfer my Bodoodle Pro Lite over to the Trykon along with the Super Stix....

Matt, blah, huh?, what? move where?...remember I'm a Hoytian, expect phone calls.

aeroslinger, same accessories but are going on the Bowtech....will transfer some of my former Vortec accessories to the Trykon and if I don't like the fall away, the Bodoodle Pro Lite will go on the Allegiance and yes, I'll be shooting tons but I already do.

Buck Magnet,
great job with the kid, and no, to be honest I didn't pick up the Old Glory, it wasn't one I was considering and today Nate said, alot of guys are picking up this one for target and handed me the Ol Glory, sweet but I was looking for a little more...eeemmmph.

Ausie, absolutely beautiful but I'm letting it come in the MO....such little camo and since it's not ASAT....didn't really matter.. Picture the Allegiance in ASAT...now we're talking. Can't wait to post pics.
