Default RE: NY hunting accident..... Or is it??

Feelings mutual Matt ..but I wonder "if" it ever really happend ..just because its in a paper means very little now days

I agree with your sentiments DD, especially withthat rag of a paper we're stuck with locally[:'(]. The sad fact is it DID happen , and like Salty said not to far from where we hunt. Sickens me to think of this S***mbag in the woods chasing after deer while a boy lay shot; let alone the fact he was the one who shot hishis own grandson.[:@][>:]
I hope he suffers with this guiltforever.
I'm sure we'll hear more detailsabout this case localin the near future.
This grandfather failed to follow very, very basic firearm safety.

1. ABSOLUTELY, POSITIVELY IDENTIFY YOUR INTENDED TARGET.

2. BE SURE THERE IS ABSOLUTELY, POSITIVELY NOTHING IN YOUR RANGE OF FIRE, IN FRONT OR BEYOND, YOUR INTENDED TARGET THAT YOU ARE NOT WILLING TO DESTROY.

3. ONLY THEN SHOULD YOU REMOVE THE SAFETY &TOUCH THE TRIGGER.

This appears that the grandfather...........

VIOLATED #2.....................and it cost the boy his life.

Nailed that one UM . Stupid needless tradgedy...
