Sabotloader, Welcome to the wonderful world of Omegas. They really are an exceptional muzzleloader. Sure there are a few quirks, but I think you will find you have a superb ML.

The difference between the z5 and other Omega's is:

You can get the Z5 any way you want as long as it's Blue/Black Synthetic stock. Also, the Z5 has some cast portions of the swing block versus machinedthat are also press=pinned versus allen screw retained.

What does all this mean?

The Z5 swing block mechanism is non-field removableand the finish is not quite as good as the regular Omega.

Otherwise, everything else is pretty much identical. The barrel is identical.

I have removed the swing block onmyOmega'sa few times for cleaning after shooting alot ofblack powderand once to adjust the swing block tensioner.
