Remington 870 express shotguns are not close to the quality you would get with a mossberg 835 ultra mag. The 500 is even beter quality then a cheap remington 870. The only good 870 is there wingsmaster ok. Of course this is going to be a one sided topic because everyone here swears by a remington pump cause they grew up with them and back then they use to be quality now a days remington is going down the crapper with a lot of there guns. Its just my opinion though and I could care less what anyone else thinks about it To me the two best shotgun makers out there is winchester with there 1300 and mossberg with there 835.
