A Question For Encore Shooters
I am purchasing an Encore 209X50 muzzleloader (black composite/stainless steel)for my son and I plan on buying a rifle barrel with it that will mainly be used for coyotes.
I understand that I have to buy a new forend for the rifle barrel as the muzzleloader forearm will not fit. In my search I ran across one that is called a "quick release" forend. Is this better than the "normal" one? What are the advantages vs a regular forend?
Are there any "tricks" that eliminate pressure points to helps out one's accuracy or is that even an option with this gun?
What brand ofbases and rings would you recommend for a scope (probably a Nikon) for the muzzleloader and rifle?
Anything else I should look for that would make the combo more enjoyable to use?
Thanks for your help....
