Seriously , if you can get to where you can draw your compound without pain , even if that means dialing down the poundage , then keep the bow and keep shooting it . But don't overlook that crossbow you invested in either , they're loads of fun to shoot and as Dnk pointed out they can give advantage under certain conditions . I love mine for shooting out of a pop-up blind , no blind I've ever tried suited my recurve due to it's height . When I'm sitting behind the logs where I hunt in my backyard they make an excellent rest for the crossbow rather than an impediment to the recurve . You spent the money on the thing Eto , the least you owe both it and yourself is to use it . Who knows ? You might even come to like it .
