Default Interesting situation...

Having tendonitis(sp?) in my right shoulder, drawing back a compound bow was painful and near impossible, so I bought a crossbow. I haven't started shooting it yet. It's been patiently waiting in my garage for about 2 years now, but that's another story.

The real situation is this: I've begun lifting weights. Two years ago, I was pretty much a walking jelly doughnut. Soon, I may have the strenght to make up for the problem caused by the tendonitis.Assuming that's the case and I'm able to safely use a compound bow, do you think I should switch over to it before I invest the time and money into rigging up and practicing with the crossbow?
