Default RE: Arrow Questions

Sorry, I don't 'play the game' that way. I don't care if you're my best friend (ask Davidmil) or a top shooter, you get the same service as the new guy coming into my store. I'll show you how to test a 'batch' of arrows once you purchase them. This will enable you to know which of those arrows are the best for hunting/target and which should be used for practice. Many times I will change the nock color for youso that you can readily tell the difference between 'good' and 'not so good'. After all, this iswhat I do for my personal use. Those who work for me or know me well enough will attest to my 'practice' arrows. So, what you've explained to me doesn't "Sound familiar?".

Also, if you think that once you get a 'good' arrow that it's 'good' forever, you're wrong. Carbon arrows will fatigue over time. With the 'inexpensive' carbons, I've seen them blow out the spine in as few as 20-30 shots. I've seen some go for tens of thousands of shots. It usuallydepends on how well your bow is tuned, the straightness of the arrow, and the consistency of thetarget you're shooting.
