The price seems high to me, but then I'm not looking for a 700ML. I had the blued version years ago that I bought used for $150.00 It had a bad spot in the bore that the guy told me was a build up of lead. Well it wasn't lead at all, it ended up being a bad spot in the rifling. I sent it backto Remington and theytook care of it with a complete new rifle.....not just the barrel. I'd say that was excellent customer service!
I never did shoot the new rifle, I sold it to my boss for $200.00 This all happened years ago, I'd say 2-3 years after the ML was introduced.
I have friends that have theRemington MLand they are all shooters.
