Someone told me that if i treat my guns barrel with bore butter when i clean the barrel it will help maintain the barrel as well as help make it a better shooting gun? I would think that it does help to maintain the barrel, but would it really help the gun shoot better?
Answer: C. NONE OF THE ABOVE. Bore Butter is edible. It is better on biscuits than gun bores. Crisco is just as good, but doesn't have the color or smell.
Clean the bore of your muzzleloader (or modern rifle if fired with corrosive ammo) with hot water,
and preserve it after thorough drying with Birchwood-Casey SHEATH!!
