you guys might check and see what kind of brake cleaner you are using. for those of you non mechanics using brake cleaner on your guns there are two types....... yep thats right two types..... theres regular type brake cleaner and NON-Clorine formulas. Clorine is corosive and will eventually help in taking blueing right off a gun. you guys might try a the non-clorine kind, thats the only kind ive ever heard of anybody using on their muzzle loaders.
