Any Weatherby mag I have ever owned has given me absoluteley no grief accuracy wise and were way more than needed in that dept. If someone has a gripe with it(accuracy) they may have the german variation with the different throat and rifling twist or are flat loading it wrong or who knows they may even have a bum rifle. Hell I had 2 Remington custom shops guns that were disasters until I had them "Accurized". 2 Gunsmiths have told me that properly chambered(300 Wthby) with a short throat that it is the most accurate hunting round they have ever fired. The Gunsmiths are Patriot Arms in NC and Penrod Precision. BigCountry I have no problem trying out new stuff I do won 2 300 wsm but there is nothing the Ultramag does that a 300 wthby cant unless you believe every printed word out of Remingtons mouth.
