In the mornin, start with soft yelps. Never get too agressive in the morning. He will gobble in his roost and never come to you. You have to coax him down. If you have one on the ground and he is gobblin to you i mix up the calls throwin in some yelps, cuts and clucks at the same time. That should get him really worked up. But dont call to much. I only call when he gobbles back. If one is not gobblin back call every 15 to 30 min. If one hangs up on you quit callin. It might make him curious and he will come find you. Even if its been an 2 hours since you have called he can still find exactly where that call was comin from. You have to keep your eyes peeled at all times. They can quit gobblin and show up in front of you in the very same moment. Now, if you know that he just wont come to you, you can go to him. Get closer and call. He will more than likely come to you then. Dont scare him off and do not put an obsticle between you and the turkey. Such as a creek, or hill or somethin.
