I lined up a Mathews, Hoyt, Bowtech and a snail once to see which one was fastest. The danged bows were so slow the snail just blew by them like they were sitting still! Obviously, bows ain't too swift.
I put my bow on the line the other day and told it to shoot a 12 on a 3D target. It just sat there lookin dumb. Sheesh.... they're not only all slow, they can't shoot worth beans. Heck, it couldn't even nock an arrow.
