Looks like a black yote to me.I just shot one 2 days ago(1/30/06).
He also hadawhite patch on his chest and was running with
another normal colored one.It was also on the large side,taxidermist
estimated him at around 55 lbs and it was the 2nd black one he
received this year.Normally he gets 1 black one every other year.
