There is a way to figure it out, but its a very long process. in order to figure out KE loss you have to think of the factors: wind, & gravity. Gravity has a force of 9.81 meters per second square wich is about 32 fps every second. Wind is a variing factor that is hard to get exact. Anyways If you want the equations for KE loss look in a physics book and get ready for some math
