Say a 373 gn arrow at 270fps= 56 ft # At what distance is that?
Usually arrows are shot through a crono at about 3 feet.

How much KE does that same arrow have at say 40 yards?
The only way your going to get it exactly right is set up a crono at 40 yards and shoot through it then work out the KE.
