I want to thank everybody helping me with my problems!!!
In response to some people: I guess it would be a carbine, the barrel length from end to the end of the nipple is 27 1/2 inches long. In the very beginning I used straight black powder of 100 gr. and didn't seem to have any problems. Then the people I was hunting withwere using Pyrodex powder so I switched. I am going to try the FFF powder and see what it does, or maybe go back to straight black powder.I use the 44cal sabots of 240gr.as recomended so I will stick with them. The caps I use depends on what I can get my hands on. I think I will try to stick with what used to work good (RWS 1075 perc. caps) and the CCI #11 magnum caps. The only modification I have made to the nipple was put a very small hole thru the nipple close to the end to help the cap split and fall off (kind of like a hot shot nipple).
