What is the recoil like with the Guide Gun in 45/70? what would you compare it to? thanks chad
You know I was worried about it. But I load up hot >2100fps 300gr loads with 49gr of IMR4198 and 300gr partitions, and it kicks a whole lot less than my 870 pump with a 1oz sabot'd slug. Maybe even less than my STW. But maybe more than a 30-06.
I did install a grind to fit recoil pad. Really nice.
