Yep, they are going out of business.
From what I understand the main owner (correct me if I am wrong) is having health problems. I am assuming the family didn't want to deal with the business any longer.
Like I said, that is my impression and it could be for some other reason.
But I do know for sure they are not being manufactured anymore.
I currently use the Bodoodle Zapper 400, looking to buy my second one soon (as a backup). I had some clearance issues when I first started shooting, I didn't quiteunderstand you had to load the arrow cock vane up everytime.
I haven't had the arrow falling off the rest, but then again, I have 1/8" diameter heat shrink on the prongs and also have the prongs fittingpretty snug against the arrow shaft. Not too much, but just enough to hold that arrow firmly in place.
This may have been your issues with the arrow not staying on the rest. It is pretty important to have those prongs set just right to allow for proper arrow containment along with proper arrow clearance.
Probably not the most accurate rest in the world but it definately works in keeping my arrows from falling off the rest.
