I went out this morning and sat in a terrace on a hillmore or less surrounded by a picked corn field. About 13 minutes after I started calling this guy shows up. Believe it or not I had a very difficult time seeing him in the corn stalks. It is unbelievable that he could get that far into the field before I saw him. I even had a hard time locating him in the scope until I could zero in on him. I used my camera tripod as a rest and whistled him to a stop slightly over 150 yards away as he stood at the top of another terrace. The old 22-250 just crushed him... Not overly big, 35 pound male.
