RE: Xtended™ Range Hi-Density
Whtaillqnd1, I wouldn't think you'd need a special choke as that factory Super Full is probably the same one I ordered.I'd start with the one you have and shot the Xtended Range shells at 20/30/40. If you are getting the pattern you want then you are good to go. If not, then spend a little on either another manufacturer's shell and try it or pick up a different choke and give it a try. I've been using the Remington 870 Super mag for quite a few years now and picked up two chokes along the way...A factory Rem super full and a MAD choke. Last spring I patterned Rem Hevy Shot, Winchester Xtended, and Federal Flight Control Wadd as I was sighting in my red dot scope. I found the Xtended Range patterned best in mine but it can be different for someone else with the same gun from what I've learned thru the forums. There are alot of Chokes out there and I'm sure someone here can steer you in the right direction there. I've heard Compu-chokes,KICKS, or the Undertakerwere good ones. I'm just throwing my own experience withmy Remington out there as an example. Man, those Xtended Range Winchester shells hit hard. I haven't shot anything out of my gun yet that has the power of those shells.
