The absolute easier way to go catch bass is getting either a spincasting or spinning outfit. Get some 4" senkos. Put a hook right through the center of the worm. Cast it out, let it sink. Lift your rod tip, reel in the slack, and let it sink again. when you feel anything different, set the hook.
