I'm 47 and I pull 60lbs on my bow. I had some shoulder problems last yearso Ibought a bow maxed out to 60. I actually am thinking of my next bow maxing at 70 for hunting and cranking it down for practice. But 60 will kill a deer fine. You may not get as many pass-throughs but to me that is irrelevant.
