I have a Cuddeback, and all i use is duracell batteries. Give it a try and see if that works if not, i would try to get your money back for it and go on ebay and buy a cuddeback. You can get a brand new Cuddeback 3.0 for about $300. I know that is a lot but trust me it is worth it. I have been setting my cam on Video and getting some great videos.
