If your getting a .22 you wont need a .410 for rabbits. I used my .410 for squirrels mainly and I have to say, from me to the top of a tree (75ft) was too far for that gun. Sure the squirrels would come tumbling down but would scamper off wounded into their holes. I had to be on my toes. So if you do get a .410 keep the shots relativley close. By the way, my .410 is a Rossi single shot. 80$
