RE: Remingtion 1917 accuracy, absolutly amazing
I love it when people find old rifles that shoot good. I think that people beleive that if it wasn't made in the last 10 years, isn't chambered for some kind of ultra magnum or other faddish cartridge, or doesn't have and expensive scope, that it's going to be too heavy, inaccurate and not worth owning in its present condition. Suprisingly to most people, most of the major military rifles made up until WWII are better made and just as accurate as modern hunting rifles.
