If the arrow is one that I
"fully believe hit the deer", I've got one chance to put another arrow in the air to try to finish it off, and that chance is going to evaporate any second...no, I don't. Why would I? I already "fully believe" I hit the deer.
BTW, I took his account of the events at face value. If I had thought for a second that he was BS'ing and trying to brag about taking a 110 yard Hail Mary on an unscathed animal...I'd have flamed him like a burnt marshmallow on a stick.
