Default RE: planting sweet potatos

a couple dozen want last one evening.they would rather have them than any of the food plot greens.if you don't plant an acer or two they will eat them up and have nothing left.
I put out 250 draws the last time I put them and in two days they were gone.I now put a few of the culls the real little ones and burry them an in. or two so they have time to root befor they start to grow.last year they lasted for a couple mo's. and they dug them up.

my uncle in Ga. grows them for a living and has to put electric fence around the field so they can get started.if he doesn't they want let them grow.

he started with 5 acers and had to replant them and put the electric around it on the second planting.
and yes they will dig them up and eat the tubers.

does that tell you how much they like them? [8D][8D]
