Saw 30-40 turkeys the other night. ON PUBLIC LAND. Knowing my luck they won't be there when turkey season comes. There was 2-3 nice gobblers in the bunch. Hopin to take my little cousin out during the youth so A: He can bag his first bird B: So I can call them in easier and make him think I am like some expert caller ( which I am not but the birds are easy to call in during youth season, during the regular season most hens have already been bred with) C: So I can do some scouting also.
