My sentimental favorite is the A5, always has been, always WILL be!!! I to LOVE my old 870s. But since the late 80s with the release of the Express' the 870s has slowly become GARBAGE. Oh sure they go bang and make em leak, but they feel like a brownbag full of roofing nails and they rattle like a Hyundai on a gravel road. The early generation SPSs certainly feel better than the Express' but neither feel like a Wingmaster. (Same goes for Rems autos as well.)

My favorite pump isn't my 870 however. I have 6 different pumps and hands down my "best feeling" (from a quality perspective) is my 25 year old BPS. It just has it allover ANY of the Rems (or any of the others for that matter) I have. The 870 is simply what it is because it has always been so much cheaper, especially post-Express garbage sticks!
