Do you need to be more scent conscious? Yes, there is less grace with scent on the ground.I am going to assume that there is more freedom of movement in a blind than a tree-stand. Yes and no. Yes you can move more freely. No in that movement is more likely to be spotted. Are they mostly natural blinds or huts/ camo tarps etc They are all kinds. I have hunted with my ghillie/sniper suit in the open with background and snuggled in deadfall. Have carried old replacement shockcord tentposts and used these for a quick blind that covers movement. The primary thing I like about it is; you take advantage of the terrain; and have more ability to move to take advantage of situations. No tree stands to pack in or move. Allows you to get down and dirty and Feel the adrenaline RUSH!!
