These guns are very similar, except that the 11-87 can handle a wider variety of loads and is, therefore, a better mousetrap IMO. You will also find these shotguns to amoung the softest recoiling anywhere. They work pretty well, buy you have to keep them clean and lubed. You might pick up a couple of spare o-rings from Brownell's to have around - they will fix most functioning problems that cleaning/oiling won't.
