Default RE: South Texas Hunt

Lots of good outfitters in south texas, not many that wont break the bank. It depends what kind of quality you are looking for. Im assuming you want to hunt free ranging property. Most of the outfitters in texas, even on low fenced property aregonna charge a fee for how much the deer scores. For a true south texas hunt you should look into ranches in the following counties: Maverick, Webb, La Salle, Dimmit, and McMullen being the top 5, with Zavala, Frio, andDuvalclose behind. As to which outiftter to go with I would not know becase my family has a lease in Webb County which we hunt, but do some research on the internet. Hunting in texas is expensive, especially if you are hunting with an outfitter and not on your own ranch or lease.

For a deer scoring.... you should expect to pay....
130 class- $2000
140 class- $3000
150 class- $4000-5000
160 class- $6000-7000
170+ - $8000-?
