RE: Is this possible??? Switchback vs. Allegiance!
Thanks guys,
Matt, your right, I forgot to mention about how the screen registers bow speeds slower than they actually are. From everyone I have talked to who shoots this screen it is typically about 15 f.p.s. slow. That would mean my bow is actually shooting around 286-289 f.p.s. and his Switchback is actually shooting 276 f.p.s. to 278 f.p.s.
The thing is that when I figure it out, his SB should be shooting about 292-294 f.p.s. at 70#'s with his set-up.That means his bowis about 16 f.p.s. slower than what it should be.
We will be up at the shop on Tuesday so if we get up there early enough we will double check his draw weight on the bow scale as well as shoot through the actual chrono and see what kind of results we get.
Our buddy shooting a Hoyt TurboTec at 27" and 60" with a 25.5" Beman ICS Hunter 400 tipped with a 100 grain arrow was getting about 240 on the screen so his actual speed should be around 255.
