Reading your post you indicate:

I totally agree with you on ballistics - I just looked up the BC of the 250 shockwave it is listed at .210 - the new Spreer Gold Dot 300 grain HP has a BC of .232. There is not doubt that the ballistic tip improves the ballistics and probably performance of the XTP bullet but I am really thinking these new bonded Speers have something to offer. These bullets are suppose to modeled of the Bear Claw Bonded rifle bullets that Spreer had such great success with, trying to compete with partition bullets.
