WOHOOOO!!!!

HOWEVER - Oshman's has a sale on 30/30 150gr rounds for $6.99! Sooo.. I bought 5 boxes and promptly headed to the range to sight that bad boy in!!

<font color=red><font size=5>KAPOW!!</font id=size5></font id=red> Dadgum thing kicks like a mule!! I've fired everything in the USMC arsenal [M16, 9mm, M60, etc.] but NOTHING kicked like that! Not that it's going to stop me - I was just HIGHLY suprised at the amount of recoil such a little gun could make.

I had a friend with me who almost fell off his seat laughing at my expression the first time I pulled the trigger. He's ex-army and has an SKS that he hunts with. So I handed it to him and let him fire a couple. THEN it was *MY* turn to laugh at his expression!! hehe...

Anyways.... I got about 3 inch groups on open iron sights at 100yds. The elevation was the easiest to adjust so it now shoots on level. The windage adjustment SUX!! I'm still about 2 inches left or I'm 2 inches right! <img src=icon_smile_angry.gif border=0 align=middle> ARRGH!!! I'm at the range again tomorrow morning to try and fix it.... THEN - if it's on target - Sunday morning looking for hogs. WOHOO!!!

Sowwy... just had to tell someone about my new gun that wouldn't mind hearing about it! hehe...
