Never got to go on my last day. I planned on a nice afternoon hunt but was reminded of plans we had made already.

Two years in a row..........no buck. Two years in a row no real opportunity at a nice buck. Maybe I should have taken the shot back in the rut at a very big buck, but he was in the really thick stuff and it would have been a marginal shot at best. Guess I should have because another guy shot him with a shotgun a 1/2 mile away two weeks later. One doe in the freezer, not one of my better seasons.
