I'm new to 3D shoots myself but from what I hear is that some people have 2 different setups for hunting and 3D shoots.

Most have a higher draw weight for 3D shoots to produce a flatter trajectory. On their hunting setup, they sometimes go with a lighter draw weight to limit movement during the draw.

Personally, I'm going to keep the setup the same (@ 60lbs) for both 3D and hunting.
