Thanks guys! That does make sense.

Couple questions though , how much added weight does it add? How does FOC change with this setup? And if I'm figuring this correctly , wouldn't the added weight to the fletching end of a carbon arrow strengthen the spine slightly?

I'll give you my setup.

Beman ICS Hunter 340's at 29" with 3-4" fletchings and 100gn tip.
I am on the heavy side as far as spine goes , but I've found that the 340's paper tune bullet holes with far less tinkering than the 400's.
