As long as you're licensed in Alaska and are only carrying long guns you shouldn't have too much trouble. You might want to check the laws in the states you'll be driving through though. Some states frown upon unattended guns in a vehicle evenif they are locked up. So if you stop and grab something to eat along the way it could cause a problem.
If you'll be carrying any handguns definitely check the laws.Some states will only allow you to drive through as long as you don't intend to stop and are licensed in your destination state.
If you make some phone calls tocheck the laws be sure to write down the name and numbers of everyone you talked to so you can provide it to anyone giving you a hard time.
As the previous two posters mentioned having them shipped may be your best bet.
